Shropshire born and bred with a passion for Painting and Drawing

'All I do, and have ever wanted to do, is art'

For as long as I can remember I have always loved to paint and draw. In fact I had always dreamt I would become a professional artist one day!

Growing up in rural Shropshire, on a Christmas tree farm, I have been extremely lucky to be surrounded by animals and nature.  I have always loved exploring the countryside, walking, going on picnics and taking photographs along the way. My work has often derived from these adventures.
 

In 2002 I went on to study Fine Art at Chester University and then completed a PGCE in Secondary Art Education. I had a wonderful 10 year career teaching secondary art, ceramics, photography and textiles.  In 2017 I decided to leave my teaching post to pursue my dream of becoming a full time artist.

I now work from my studio at home producing original art, commissions, prints, greeting cards and giftware.
